Treatment of...

Amy Landon is a warm and enthusiastic massage practitioner who has extended her knowledge and skills over 5 years to become an accomplished therapist . She has treated many injuries, conditions and postural problems with great success.  Her most recent training at the London school of massage has introduced a new dynamic structure to treatments encompassing a variety of new techniques which have had amazing results.

Sports massage: Anyone who regularly works out, whether it be in a professional capacity or amateur from running, swimming, aerobics, walking or riding a bike, pushes their bodies towards their physical limits. Massage to many becomes part of a sports programme, to help with performance, maintenance and repair of the muscle fibres.

Remedial Massage: The basis of remedial massage stem from the same techniques as sports massage.  Injuries can be caused in many different environments such as work, driving, computers, accidents and bad posture.

Therapeutic Massage: Incorporates many of the same techniques but also concentrates on the emotional side of the massage, allowing the body to benefit form the relaxational properties of the treatment.

Pregnancy massage is adapted from a therapeutic massage. This treatment aims to naturally relieve both emotional and physical stresses which often occur during pregnancy.  Each treatment is individually adapted to the mother to be, at each stage of her pregnancy and early postnatal period. Exercise, breathing, visualisation and positioning are an important part of preparation for the birth and highlighted throughout the massage.
